BIOGRAPHIES
Here are a few short bios on the trio of guys which make up Eskimo Joe. not really that much info but enough to give you guys some idea of what these talented men are made of.KAVYEN TEMPERLY
Kav is the lead singer, song writer and bassist of the band. Born the 3rd of July 1978 in Fremantle, WA. He apparantly changed his name at age 7 to Kavyen which means poet. As a child he changed schools quite often and travelled the world, gaining valuable life experiences. He always had a love for writing music and recording it and through this met up with Joel. Best friends with Stu.
STU MACLEOD
Stu is the guitarist and backup singer of the band. Though the whole band has an extreme sense of humour Stu seems to be the true joker and focal point of hilarity. He lives in East Fremantle, WA. Stu names his car, drinks and swears a lot and adores food and the guitar. He's been best friends with Kav for years and met Joel through this friendship.
JOEL QUARTERMAIN
Joel is the guitarist, backup singer and apparantly sometimes the pianist and drummer of the band. Born on the 19th of January 1977 in Melbourne, Victoria he spent a lot of his childhood focused on radio and tapes. In 1989 he moved to Perth (unwillingly) and first joined a band in his high school years. He joined the band Freuds Pillows in Year 12 and thus met Kav.
OTHERS
Though these three guys are the faces of Eskimo Joe we must still not forget the hardworking people who aid their performances during live shows as well as in the studio. Their contribution to Eskimo Joe's music is greatly appreciated. In particular Paul Keenan who joined the band after recording 'A Song Is A City' resulting in Joel becoming a guitarist.
